Woman from Surat tried to commit suicide by consuming poisonous drug at the Vadodara ST depot

A woman from Surat tried to commit suicide by consuming poisonous drug at the Vadodara ST depot this afternoon on Thursday. She was caught by the on duty security and rushed to the hospital by 108 ambulance. The incident shocked the passengers waiting for their bus at the Depot.

As per available details the 28 year old woman from Surat arrived at the Vadodara Central ST Depot in Thursday afternoon. She then swallowed some pesticide mixed with water.

A woman running a stall selling sherbet at the depot became suspicious of the woman and rushed to the spot with the help of others. They called the ambulance and send her to SSG hospital for treatment. The woman who attempted suicide was not ready to go and the ambulance staff forcibly took her and admitted in the hospital.

The incident created panic in the other passengers waiting for the arrival of their buses. Sayajigunj police has registered the case and further investigating in the matter.
