Waghodia police have registered a case against the petrol pump operator after it came to light that adulterated biodiesel was being sold at a petrol pump at Asoj during the Mamlatdar’s raid.

Working as Mamlatdar in Waghodia taluka, R.R. Bhabhor said in the police complaint that on 25th September he and his team conducted a surprise check at Param Ark Biodiesel Petroleum at Asoj and samples of biodiesel were sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory, Gandhinagar for checking.

The report from the laboratory revealed that unauthorized sale of adulterated petroleum mixed with biodiesel was taking place from the pump. Based on that Collector ordered to take criminal action in the matter.

Based on the complaint, Waghodia police has registered a case against petrol pump operator Nidhiben Harshalbhai Thakkar (resides at Jalaraam Complex, near Jalaraam Temple, Karelibaug, Vadodara) under Sections 3 and 7 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. Further Action is initiated to arrest the accused in the matter.
