VMSS aid to needy heart patients

Four beneficiaries get 50,000 cheques this year

In the last 10 years VMSS till date distributed 1.97 crores to 415 needy heart patients from the city. This year four More beneficiaries received cheques of 50,000 from the hands of Mayor Jigisha Sheth.

From 2010 VMSS is giving help to the heart patients in the city of 50,000 rupees cheque. The beneficiaries have to comply with the norms to get the aid. In the last 10 years around 415 beneficiaries received the aid of 1,97,57,272 from the VMC and in 2019 four people Kirti kumar Pandya, Shanta Salunke, Mukesh Desai and Vipul Vyas received the aid from Mayor for the heart treatment.

The beneficiaries get the cheques from Mayor in presence of Municipal Commissioner Ajay Bhadoo, standing committee chairman Satish Patel, leader of opposition Chandrakant Srivastav and councillors proposed for the aid.
