Faculty of Education and Psychology, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda organised a Virtual Patriotic song competition for the students. This was organised as one of the events under “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav”, as announced by the Government of India in order to celebrate 75 years of independence of India.

Total 13 students participated from the three Departments of Education, Psychology and Educational Administration of the Faculty in this competition. More than 100 students joined online to become part of this event.

The Dean of the faculty Prof. R. C. Patel emphasized on the importance of inducing feelings of patriotism among the students through such kind of celebrations. A well known International Artist Shri Girish kumar Kavishwar (Voice of Rafi) was invited as a Guest Artist on this occasion to encourage the students. He ignited the feelings of patriotism among all the attendees with his songs and rocked the audience with his magical voice.

The students performed patriotic songs along with karaoke soundtracks.
The participants namely Payal Antani, Diksha Sharma, Prachi Pandya and Dr. Ruchi shah were announced as the winners in this patriotic song competition.
