Bhavya Bharat Foundation, a youth NGO based out of Vadodara, launched one of a kind grand merit cum means scholarship program for all students of the country. The Vidyashrayi scholarships aimed at helping all the meritorious aspirants of UPSC/SPSC/SSC who do not have the financial capacity to continue funding for their coaching.
The scholarships was launched by BBF after successfully completed its 5 years of service to the citizens of Vadodara and the country. They have received 92 eligible applications from 14 states of India, out of which 16 students from 8 states were shortlisted as a part of phase 1.
The foundation will be awarding an amount more than INR 1,25,000/- . The amount will be utilised towards helping them with their fees or towards their expenses of the books needed in these dire times for them to pursue their training for UPSC/SPSC/SSC.
They officially awarded the scholarships on the auspicious day of the 74th Independence day of India in the presence of Suresh Jain, National Organising secretary, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Vipul Pate, Florida, USA, Mehul Desai, Managing Director, Arvalli Castor Derivatives and Bakulesh Gupta, Founder Chairman, BRG Group.
“We will be supporting these individuals throughout the year, not just monetary wise but through other means like career counselling & make sure that they get all resources possible for their overall career development. In the coming 6 months we plan to include another set of individuals & award those scholarships as part of our phase 2 of Vidyashrayi scholarships. Every year Vidyashrayi scholarship will be awarded in two phases – 15th August and 26th January,” said Rangam Trivedi and Vaidyanathan Iyer Founder, Convener, Bhavya Bharat Foundation Vidyashrayi Scholarships.
