Appeal everyone to cast their votes for better governance
A youth in Vadodara cast his vote before going for his marriage and spread a positive message in the society. Working as sales marketing in the IT department, he cast his vote along with his parents, siblings and other family members. The groom and his family became the first voters to cast their votes at the Fatehpura Vinay Mandir School polling station in Vadodara.
He said its his right and he arrived to cast his vote before the wedding. He feel that in Vadodara Corporation, the councilors who get elected can turn their attention towards better development of their ward along with Vadodara.
Sonak Prakashbhai Rana (Nepali) lives with his family in Fatehpura Kalupura, Vadodara. He is in sales marketing in the IT company and marries Deepika, a resident of Ahmedabad on February 21, 2021, the day of the corporation election. Deepika is also educated and works in a private bank in Ahmedabad. Sonak and Deepika get married today and start their life together.
Sonke, who lives with father Prakashbhai Rana (Nepali), mother Manjubahen, brother Ronak and sister-in-law Bhumitaben, said there were rituals including Ganesha installation, mandap muhurat and others at home on Saturday. On Sunday he is going to Ahmedabad to marry Deepika works in a private bank.
Today is his wedding and coincidentally on corporation election day, so it will be a memorable day for him. When the date of marriage was fixed, it was not known that the election of the corporation would take place on the date of marriage. So he had come to fulfill his sacred right to vote before the marriage. He is happy to cast his vote and became the first voter to cast his vote in the polling booth of Vinay Mandir School.
He further said that his family also accompanied to cast their votes as it’s their fundamental right. His whole family will vote and then join him for marriage rituals.
He appealed everyone to vote first before every work and daily routine. The vote will give the right to everyone to represent their pleas to the elected councillors. So vote for the candidate who wants good development of Vadodara as well as development of his area.
As a citizen of the city he wants development of his ward along with development of Vadodara. And whoever wins also provides basic amenities like clean water, roads, drainage, rain gutters, street lights especially to the people of their respective wards. He want the party and its councilors to resolve the issues of primary facilities of the people of the ward expeditiously.
When it comes to the development of Vadodara, the development of Vadodara lags behind the states of Gujarat. Hopefully, in the next five years, Vadodara will develop holistically and the water problem in Vadodara in particular will be solved. Once again, he appeal voters to cast their votes.
