Vadodara Women Congress meeting to decide strategy of upcoming local body election

As the local body elections are about to happen shortly and political parties has intensified their activities. Office bearers are also come out in the field to make their party victorious in the upcoming elections. In view of that a formal meeting of Vadodara Women’s Congress was held on Wednesday to decide the strategy.

The term of 2015 local body has ended on 15th December. On the other hand the elections are likely to be held in February which have been postponed due to the Corona epidemic. Political parties also start their activities and in view of that a formal meeting of the Women’s Congress was held on Wednesday where more than 50 women were present.

The meeting was chaired by Gujarat Pradesh Women President Gayatriba Vaghela and central level office bearers Sonalben Patel. During the meeting, a list of women who are able and want to participate in the elections, will be made and a representation will be sent to the region level. It also focus on deciding the strategy regarding the upcoming elections and campaign will be launched in each ward. The members will be given different responsibilities as part of the election strategies.

During the meeting, Gayatriba Vaghela said that the business community, students, farmers and women are very saddened by the BJP rule. The government does not listen to their representation as an opposition, which is really sad.
