Vadodara woman Feel like married again in her Wedding anniversary

On her wedding anniversary Vadodara based Shakuntala Shah who lost 95 KG in six month after bariatric surgery is feeling like she is married again. Six months earlier she asked for Euthanasia from PM Narendra Modi due to her weight and be there at one place inside her house. Later on she was operated and now she is just 86 kgs and move inside her home with the help of Walker.

Vadodara citizen Shakuntalaben Shah was 170 KG and she was so frustrated with her weight that she requested the PM Narendra Modi to help her in surgery or else give permission for Euthanasia. Later she was operated and after the bariatric surgery she lost around 95 Kgs in six months and is on weight loss diet plan.

Shakuntala Shah was 175 kgs and the Bariatric surgery was done on 22nd April 2016. After six months she lost almost half of the weight she was before the surgery and now her look is also changed. She also celebrate her wedding anniversary with her family with much enthusiasm and happiness.

“I feel I am married again today as I celebrate the day with my husband and son with the smile which was lost for last 13 years. The day is very special for me as I found my new life and the feeling is not expressed in words. I want to live my last 13 years now,” said a jubilant Shakuntala Shah who is looking beautiful in her new look.

For the last 13 years Shakuntala Shah was suffering from increasing weight and the calcium loss in her body made her to be there at one place at her home. She was so frustrated with the weight and diseases that one time she decided to commit suicide. Her husband is working in a jewellery shop and due to not so good economical condition of her family ahe wrote a letter to the PM Narendra Modi and request him to help her financially or permit her for Euthanasia.

“I am a singer and before my marriage I am much fitter and was happy. But after two miscarriage and after the birth of my son there was calcium loss in my body and that damaged my hip joints. I was forced to be at one place as I was not able to move and since 2003 I was living my life at one place of my house. As i was stayed at one place diseases like Thyroid, Asthama and BP caught me and my condition worsened further. However after the surgery I relive my life again and on my wedding anniversary I feel like I am married again,” said Shah.

After the surgery Shakuntala Shah lost weight and following a proper diet plan. She is now able to move around inside her home with the help of a walker and excited. “I am following the strict diet plan and also the doctors are hopeful that after a joint surgery I am able to walk on my feet again without any help. The doctors are waiting for the muscles to get strong and then go for the surgery. I lost my 13 prescious years due to my weight but now want to relive every moment of it. I also pray God to give me 13 more years in my life,” said Shah.
