OSD Dr. Vinod Rao request people to extra careful in this festive season

Vadodara witness the downward curve of first wave of Covid 19. The total number of patients came down below 2000 for the first time in last two and half months.

OSD Dr. Vinod Rao informed, we have completed 30 days on the downward curve of our First Wave of COVID. Exactly one month back, on 17th September, we had the highest number of Hospitalization with about 3250 admitted patients.

Furthermore the total number of COVID patients in Government and Private Hospitals on Saturday came below 2000 for the first time after 75 days and stands at 1930. The highest number of patients on Ventilators was about 360 around last week of September. It has steadily come down to 229 today.

Dr. Rao extends his wishes on the auspicious first day of Navratri and salute all Frontline COVID Warriors who risked their lives and worked without rest amidst all adversities for the last 7 months and saved our City.

Dr. Rao added that Navratri is the most festive time for Vadodara and all have to be extra cautious this year, in their own self interest. He request all citizens to maintain all the guidelines issued by the State Government and not to take this festive season lightly or else they may have a Second Wave in November – December.
