Vadodara Warasia police arrest two conman for cheating

Vadodara Police have arrested a conman for allegedly cheating the complainant of Rs 26.41 lakh by making him a partner in a business of exporting basmati rice to Dubai. He was cheating people by claiming to be in the import-export business.

As per details Sagarbhai Pravinbhai Brahmbhatt lives in B-23, Ashokvatika Society on Karelibaug VIP road. He was introduced to Ashutosh Shaileshbhai Parikh, resident of 701, Ghanshyam Park, Society at Harni by his friend Shivam Parikh on 30-11-017 in his office.

After the introduction, Ashutosh Parikh told Sagar Brahmbhatt that he was in the import-export business. He also said that he would soon be exporting large quantities of basmati rice from India to Dubai. It requires a large investment partner and if he invest, he will make him partner in the rice business in Dubai. He also said to give him the profit share.

Sagarbhai Brahmbhatt got lured by Ashutosh Parikh’s speech and invested a total of Rs 26.41 lakh. After investing, Ashutosh struggled to make partnership papers and meanwhile Sagarbhai came to know that Ashutosh does not have any import-export business. Hence he began demanding a refund but Ashutosh was not listening and threatened to file a case and send him to jail.

Meanwhile, Sagarbhai Brahmbhatt lodged a complaint in this regard at the Warasia police station and the police registered a case of fraud-betrayal of Rs 26.41 lakh against conman Ashutosh Parikh. He was arrested on Saturday and further action has been taken.

In addition, the police arrested one Rakesh Ambalal Patel (Res. C-65, Sainath Society, Vasna Road, Vadodara) for luring people to give good returns by investing and giving them good jobs. He is connected with the sale of various items from an online internet mobile called REJOICE BIBES.
