After capturing the market of UK, USA and India in 3 months of establishment, a Vadodara-based startup ‘TechoKids’ is all set to compete with global EduTech platforms, while supporting the government initiative of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’.
Vadodara’s two young, enthusiastic entrepreneurs, Nimish Gopal and Sonveer Singh, have commenced a one-of-a-kind EduTech startup known as TechoKids. This startup is all set to become one of the leading education platforms in the country that is well-established in India and is rapidly advancing in the developed countries of the world. TechoKids is a unique online platform wherein children while sitting at home can take one-to-one training with expert faculties and create various applications, websites or games.
Incorporated at Vadodara Startup Studio, an emerging startup incubator and accelerator centre in Central Gujarat, powered by city’s renowned Parul University, the startup venture has received market analysis & strategy, ecosystem network and incubation support. Recently, TechoKids inaugurated new workspace from the hands of the inspirational chief guest, Dr. Devanshu Patel, the President of Parul University, who later encouraged the young entrepreneurs and their team while wishing them the best for the future.
According to the Co-Founder of TechoKids, Nimish Gopal, the main aim of coming up with this edutech platform is to aid the 21st-century students to gain knowledge in the field of technology development, even in their native language, and develop the essential skillset for a benefitting future.According to the new education policies, announced by the Indian Government, coding has been made a mandatory part of the school education for the children to keep up with the rapidly changing world.
India is an emerging economy and other developed countries in the world, with the help of technology, is educating their youth while providing an apt platform to develop their skillsets. And, after observing this, the duo came up with the idea to develop an Indian platform during the lockdown. In just three months, they have grown from a team of 2 to a size of 50 people. Currently, over 50 young professionals are working for TechoKids, including the alumni from IITs, IIMs and Parul University.
