Vadodara SOG arrested two with methamine drugs with 47 lakhs

Vadodara city police arrested two mafias with methamine drugs worth Rs 47 lakh from Dena Chokdi on the National Highway near Vadodara. Taking advantage of the lockdown the accused are taking 470 grams of methamine drugs in a Scorpio car also known as meow-meow in Gujarat.

Kesari Singh Bhati, Joint Commissioner of Police said, Special Operations Group PI M.R. Solanki received the information about one Scorpio car was about to pass over National Highway No. 8 carrying drugs. Based on the information, the SOG had set up a watch near Dena Chokdi and started checking the passing vehicles. Meanwhile the mentioned Scropio car coming from Ahmedabad was stopped and 470 grams of methamine drugs were found from inside.

Police seized the car and drugs a total of Rs 57,10,000 from the spot. The police also arrested Narendra alias Chenaram Pitharam Chaudhary (Patel) (originally from Pamana village in Zalor district, Rajasthan) and presently living in Ananta complex at Waghodia road along with Pankaj alias Vikram Naranbhai Mangukia (originally from Turkha village, Dist. Botad) for the crime.

He further said that Narendra alias Chenaram Chaudhary used to bring drugs from Rajasthan to Vadodara in the spare wheel of a four wheeler as well as in the doorway. He later sold it in Saurashtra as well as South Gujarat with the help of his associates. He did not take orders in advance to evade the police. When the goods arrived, he contact the customer in person and deliver to him. A case of NDPS has been registered against Narendra at the Jaab police station in Rajasthan. The another one Pankaj alias Vikram has been booked at the Nandeshari police station in Vadodara for cheating and assault in Surat.

A complaint is registered at the Harni police station against both the accused who were arrested with drugs. Along with this, a procedure has been carried out for their corona virus test. Investigation is on to know their associates, How many times they brought the drugs before and others.
