    Vadodara SOG arrested one accused from Uttarakhand with Charas worth 2.14 lakhs. He brought the item from one Beena Rawat from Uttrakhand and bring to Vadodara for selling.

    On Friday the SOG ASI Shantilal Valjibhai received the tip from his informer about one Maheshbhai Ram from Uttarakhand resides in Laxmipura VUDA housing and brought Charas from his hometown three days ago. He is searching for customers at was about to arrive at Laxmipura Vuda circle kept Charas inside the college bag.

    Based on the information the team reached the spot and caught Mahesh Ram from Uttrakhand and presently lives in Vadodara. He failed in 9th standard and married. His wife lives in his home town.

    Police recovered 1 kg 70 grams Charas worth 2.70 lakhs from him along with mobile, cash and other items. The accused is residing in Gujarat for last eight years and worked as Captain in different restaurants in Vadodara, Surat and Bhavnagar. He bought the Charas from one Beena Rawat from Uttarakhand and bring to Vadodara.
