Accused of threatening VP Saloni Mishra and other girls for pouring acid on their faces

Vadodara Sayajigunj police arrested eight members of the Pathan group after the complaint over threatening to life and rioting inside the MSU campus. The eight were arrested after VP Saloni Mishra gives written complaint to the police against them for threatening to pouring acid on her and other girls.

Saloni Mishra gives a complaint to the Sayajigunj police station against one Zuber Pathan and members of his group for threatening to throw acid on their faces. Acting on that the police caught main accused Zuber Pathan,  Fazal Pathan,  Aqib Pathan,  Ati Pathan,  Sajid Pathan,  Mohsin Pathan,  Rustam Pathan and Kalim Pathan all residents of Navayard under various sections of IPC.

“We have arrested eight members of the Pathan group in the matter for threatening to kill the complainant and other girls and further investigation in the matter.  We are trying to find out about how they enter the University and are they students of the MSU or not?  The accused threaten to throw acid on them and we are investigating in every angle of the matter,” said ACP Deepak Meghani.

He further said that they will conduct meetings with the University authorities and the vigilance to help them strengthening the security inside. We will issue guidelines to them and ready to help at every stage to ensure the students safety inside the premises.
