Shop owner risked his and another 22 people's life in danger

Muslims have been waiting for the lockdown to open to buy clothes, boots and slippers to celebrate the New Year, which begins on Ramzan Eid. But the lockdown has been extended by the government in view of Corona cases. Inspite of that some shopkeepers are violating the guidelines and open their shops.

In one such incident Vadodara police cracked down on a shoe shop in Panigate area for doing business and detain 22 people from there. Legal action is taken against the shop owner.

As per available details, the police had received a tip-off that a shop called Dhamaka Shoes near Panigate area is opened. The team reached the spot and after verifying asked the person standing outside to open the shutter. The team found 22 people shopping inside which is a serious threat to the all present there including the shop owner.

Police registered the case and detain three along with the shop owner for violation of the Covid Guidelines and the Commissioner of Police's declaration as well as under the Epidemic Act.
