Vadodara police caught liquor worth 26 lakhs in two separate incidents

Vadodara city witness good number of prohibition cases in recent past as bootleggers are ferrying liquor adopting new ways. On Saturday once again the city police caught liquor worth around 26 lakhs in two incidents.

Makarpura police caught IMFL worth 20,16,000 hidden inside cartons use for loading goods. The team arrested Suresh Ramprasad alias Chhotelal Dhobi from Haryana and seized the trailer. Another one is declared wanted and hunt is on to trace him.

In another incident crime branch team caught IMFL worth around 6 lakhs from a shop near APMC market on national highway. The liquor was said to be called by known bootlegger Alpesh Wadhwani. Police declared Alpesh Sindhi and his associate Vinod Punia as wanted and began investigation in the matter.
