Vadodara Makarpura police busted a interstate gang involved in selling vehicles after hired them from the travel companies. The accused get the numbers from Justdial and then contact the travellers to hire the vehicles and then sold it.

As per the details the gang contact the complainant owner of Shree Sai Travels after getting his number from Justdial and rented one Swift GJ 06 LB 7415 and Honda VRV GJ 06 KH 3966 from him. Later they don’t return the vehicles and switched off their numbers.

As a complaint was registered in Makarpura police station and during investigation the team found the involvement of three persons running the interstate racket. The accused Rizwan Sheikh resident of Ahmedabad, Jitendra Baraiya from Bhavnagar and Imran Saiyed from Ahmedabad involved in the crime and sold the VRV at Sanchore Rajasthan.Based on their investigation the team recovered the VRV and Swift along with three laptops from the place where the accused stayed. They also arrested the two accused Jitendra Baraiya and Imran Saiyed while the main accused Rizwan Sheikh was declared wanted.

During primary investigation the two accused said the mastermind is Rizwan and they all together contact Justdial in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Pune and took the numbers of travel companies. They them rent the vehicles and later sold it outside and cheat them. Police now gathering information about the gang activities in Ahmedabad and Pune and further investigating in the matter.
