    Said his desire fulfilled and will provide legal guidance to people

    An ASI posted in the city’s most sensitive Wadi police station in Vadodara gives a shining example about importance of education in life and also there is no age to pursue your dreams. Prafulchandra Parmar, 56 passed the exam as it was his desire from the beginning to become a lawyer. Now he decides to provide legal guidance to the people of the society after retiring from the police service.

    Prafulchandra Vashrambhai Parmar, who lives with his family at 303-6, Rajeshwar Planet, Harni Road, Vadodara said, he applied for a job in the employment office after passing Std-10.  He then completed his graduation in BA. After graduation he was interviewed for police recruitment from the employment office and joined the force after passed the interview. After joining the police force his desire to do L.L.B. was left unfulfilled, Which has been completed in 56 years.

    He further said that he had to go to court during the work of the police department and contact with lawyers began from there. Witnessing the work of the lawyers made him think of LLB and he got admission in Sardar Patel University, Anand in the year 2017. He has completed his LLB by studying for three years taking time out from his busy schedule. He is happy that his desire to become a lawyer has been fulfilled.

    A.S.I. Prafulchandra Parmar added that there is no age to study. The main purpose of doing LLB and specially at home to create an environment for his children to go ahead with their higher studies. Along with this to inspire those who are in the police department and for some reason they could not complete their study. There will be many policemen in the department who want to study more, but due to lack of proper direction couldn’t pursue. But, if they want they can also complete their studies in the current job.

    He further added that, he been working in Wadi police station for the last five years and studies whatever additional time he gets during his job. He made timetable for studying LLB and studies sometimes early morning and late in the night. His only wish was to get an LLB degree even if he don’t even practice after retirement.  But he will make his LLB degree meaningful by providing guidance to the people of the society.
