Vadodara police arrested one for Facebook post to create
disturbance and fear in the minds of people during lockdown. The accused put
the post regarding Love Jihad on his FB account.
During the lockdown government is taking strict measures to
implement the order strictly and also issued some important advisories to
follow. In one such advisory police strictly issued a notification to stay away
from posting fake posts on social media and warn of strict action against such
people.
The cyber cell team in one such post trace the youth named
Wahid Khan Pathan resident of Nilakanth Society opposite Undera Railway Colony
for posting disturbing message on his Facebook account. The accused posted a
Love Jihad message which can create disturbance and fear in people during such
tense times.
Police arrested the accused and further investigating in the
case. The Vadodara police regularly spread message in people about stay away
from fake social media messages and stay safe inside their homes during the
lockdown.
