Vadodara police arrested four bogus journalists for demanding ransom from spa manager

Vadodara police arrested four bogus journalists operating weekly and social media news channel for demanding ransom of rupees 2 lakhs from the spa manager at Sama Savli road. They threatened to publish the news if they did not pay and even forcefully took out 17000 from the purse of a employee. Police arrest the four and remaining one will be arrested  later as he is admitted in the hospital after his was tested as Covid positive.

According to a complaint lodged at Sama police station, the woman employee who lives in the Maneja area, has been working for the last one and a half years at the Spa on the second floor of Lotus Ora-2 on Sama Savli Road. Other women do massage work at the center.

On the afternoon of March 12, four men broke into the Spa office and present themselves as journalists by showing them ID cards from a distance. They started arguing with the spa staff and asked for ransom money by threatening them by saying to publish news as they are doing wrong things here. They also made a video and forcefully took 17000 rupees from the purse and left.

The management of the spa gives a complaint in Sama police station and based on that the police team arrest Sunny Shinde, Keyur Barot, Mohammad Siddiq Mansuri, Devang Bhatia. Another one Rakesh Patel was admitted in hospital after tested Covid positive and will be arrested later.
