Vadodara police caught one Rashmin Patel in the case of throwing slippers at the Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel amid media interview at Karjan. He hatched the whole plan and was caught based on the audio clip about his conversation with one Amit Pandya.

Rashmin Patel a resident of Shinor in Karjan arrested by the police in case of throwing slipper at the Deputy CM Nitin Patel amid media interview at Karjan. During investigation the police with the help of informers and technical source zero in on Rashmin Patel who was talking to one Amit Pandya about organise a success party as his plan to throw slippers was successful.

Giving details District Superintendent of Police Sudhir Desai said, the offence was registered by the police after the incident and Dabhoi DySP Kalpesh Solanki was heading the investigation. LCB, SOG and other teams also joined the investigation and analyse the media footage, pics and other recording from the locals.

Meanwhile the team received a input from their informer about one Rashmin Patel a Congress worker for his involvement in the incident. During interrogation the team checked his mobile and found a audio clip where he was talking to one Amit Pandya elaborated details about the success in throwing slipper and will celebrate.

Police arrested him under various sections of IPC and in the process to seek remand from the court. SP further added that the team will also take help of cyber cell and FSL to seek phone data of the accused. Further investigation is on in the matter.
