Recovered 1crore 88 lakhs worth luxurious vehicles
Vadodara PCB busted a interstate racket of selling stolen cars from other states in Vadodara for lesser price than the original. The accused forged documents of the stolen cars and sell them to the customers. Police recovered 1crore 88 lakhs worth luxurious vehicles from the spot. Delhi crime branch arrested Tarun Nathani from Vadodara and search is on to arrest the other two accused.
Investigating in the matter, PCB PI R.C. Kanmiya received a perfect input about one Tarun Nathani from Vadodara received luxurious cars and later sold them to customers in lesser price. The team reached the spot and seized eight luxurious cars and SUV’s from there. The investigation revealed the names of Shakeel from Rajasthan, Guddu Ansari from Ahmedabad and Tarun Nathani from Vadodara work as team to sell the stolen vehicles.
Talking about their Modus operandi, Shakeel steal luxurious cars and SUV’s from different areas of Rajasthan and Delhi. He then informed and send pictures to Guddu Ansari. Ansari then reached to Shakeel forged documents and then brought the vehicles to Tarun Nathani in Baroda. He then sold them to customers based on the forged documents.
PCB recovered Toyota Fortuner (2), Innova Crysta (2), and one each of Ford Endeavor, Hyundai Creta, Honda City and Hyundai i 20 Asta from Vadodara.
