NDRF and Fire brigade works jointly for the rescue efforts at the incident site
Vadodara NDRF team rushed to the site of L&T building collapse at Channi and joined the Vadodara fire brigade at rescue operation there. The team specially used their newly trained German Shepherd dog to help them in their efforts.
On Saturday afternoon the building collapsed resulting in death of one and feared many trapped under the debris. Vadodara fire brigade rushed to the spot and engage in rescue efforts by using ultra modern equipments. During the evening the NDRF teams also joined them in the rescue efforts at the site of the incident.
As per the details from the NDRF the teams rushed under supervision of Commandant R.S. Joon as received requision from Vadodara Collector office following the Golden hour principles. The team used the canine squad and taking the help of newly trained Germon shepherd “ROCK” a well trained and intelligent Dog. The seven months old canine is the new entrant in the team and said to be aggressive and intelligent to be used in such operations.
The teams also used other equipments for the search operation. NDRF and Vadodara fire service mutually handling the situation.
