It has come out that a Chinese company is spying on the country’s prominent politicians with the latest technology and their every move is being monitored. Among the list including the mayor of Vadodara and mayor of Junagadh in Gujarat has become a topic of discussion politically.
On September 14, a news agency reported that a China-sponsored company was monitoring 5 former prime ministers, including the most recent prime minister, 350 MPs, 10,000 influential people, mayors and deputy mayors of 70 cities in different parts of the country. The list of mayor, deputy mayors includes Vadodara and Junagadh from Gujarat. How long the mayor-deputy mayor of Vadodara has been spied on, how and what kind of data has been collected is a matter of investigation for government agencies.
Meanwhile, the Chinese government-sponsored company has placed 5 former prime ministers, 350 MPs, 10,000 influential people and people, including mayors and deputy mayors of 70 cities in different parts of the country, under cyber surveillance. The 70 cities included Haryana, Burhanpur, Jodhpur, Agra, Guwahati, Vadodara and Junagadh in Gujarat.
According to the report, for the last two years, key figures in India have been monitored by a Chinese company through state-of-the-art technology and software such as Big Data, Data Intelligence, Data Mining. The company’s client list included key departments, including the Chinese government.
Currently the Mayor of Vadodara is Dr. Jigishaben Seth and Deputy Mayor is Jivraj Chauhan. In this regard Mayor said, This is a serious matter and China cannot be trusted. They are checking it through the corporation’s IT department. Cyber expert Mayur Bhusavalkar said that the company was established in the year 2018. The company claims that it has data of 10,000 people which includes eminent persons including the Mayor of Vadodara. What is the purpose of the company will be known in coming days. But this is a serious matter.
