Vadodara Laxmipura police nabbed a member of the Sikligar gang involved in burglaries in various areas of city

Based on information Vadodara Laxmipura police nabbed a member of the Sikligar gang who was involved in burglary in the city. The team seized more than Rs 8.57 lakh, solved two cases and recovered stolen items in seven other cases.

Under the instruction and guidance of the Commissioner of Police, Assistant Commissioner of Police, B Division and Laxmipura Police Station PI R.C. Kanmiya, different teams were on patrol at Laxmipura Police Station jurisdiction. Meanwhile they received information about Jagsingh alias Ganjo Ratansingh Tank and nabbed him.

Police seized a mobile phone, a bike, 16 tola gold jewelery worth Rs 6,53,780, 1.200 kg silver jewelery worth Rs 47,000, silver utensils and cash worth Rs 92,640 from him.

During preliminary investigation the police team solved two cases of theft registered at Gotri and Laxmipura police stations. The items recovered from the accused turned out to be from theft registered at Laxmipura, Gorwa and Gotri police stations.
