Allowed the devotees to visit temple following strict guidelines

Amid Coronavirus scare Vadodara ISKCON temple cancelled all the big programmes for Janmashtami and just allowed the devotees to visit temple following strict guidelines. The temple also make arrangements like sanitise tunnels and others to ensure the smooth flow of people maintaining social distancing during their visit on Janmashtami.

Vadodara city is witnessing 100 plus cases of Coronavirus for quite sometime and administration is taking every measure to aware people about following government guidelines strictly to prevent the spread of infection. In view of the such challenging situations the festivals coming in the month of August are also cancelled by the government. The temple administration are also folllwing the guidelines and not arranging any big celebrations this time.

As Janmashtami festival is just two days away, famous ISKCON temple in Vadodara also cancel the big celebration this year. “In view of the serious situation of Coronavirus we have decided to cancel big celebration in temple this year. On the day of Janmashtami the temple will be open for devotees to visit with masks and maintain social distancing. We are taking every preventive measures to stop spreading the infection as hence make arrangements of sanitise tunnels and other preventive measures for the safety of people as well as the temple staff. We request people to maintain descipline and follow strict government guidelines during their visit to the temple,” Nityanand Swami of ISKCON temple Vadodara.
