Vadodara Hosts Largest KAIZEN Competition in India

Tata Motors, Apollo Tyres and Gujarat Guardinan Win KAIZEN Competition

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized”8th Edition of Gujarat State Level Best Kaizen Competition 2019″ on 14 June 2019 in Vadodara. Tata Motors, Apollo Tyres and Gujarat Guardinan won the Competition among 70 other companies from Gujarat.

70 teams from leading manufacturing organizations of various sectors from all over Gujarat participated in the Competition which is the largest in India. Compared to other parts of Gujarat, teams from Vadodara and Ahmedabad won maximum awards.

Through this Competition, CII put it’s one of the best feature to bring together experts, practitioners, counselors and professional people on TPM and Quality subject to exchange ideas, deliberate issues and learn in an informal setting.

Kaizen Competition has emerged as a well-known unique platform for industries to showcase their innovative approaches to further cut down the cost and optimize the resources. CII Vadodara is organizing Gujarat State Level Kaizen Competition every year to recognize and encourage companies which give importance to continuous improvements through Kaizens. The competition is conducted for operators and supervisors from manufacturing. The competition awards the companies who have adopted Kaizens not only at the shop floor but also from the office area, scrap yard, stores and others.
