Vadodara food department teams conduct checking inside the food stalls, ice cream parlours and other eateries operating from Ratri Bazaar. The teams destroyed around 150kgs of items like Manchurian, Paneer, Sev, rice, flour and Panipuri water on the spot. The team also also issued 20 Schedule 4 notices to the food joint owners during the drive.
Total of six teams conduct checking in the ratri bazaar situated opposite Vuda office in Vadodara. The place is famous for its variety of food joints ranging from fast food to ice cream parlours and other eateries. The teams check the quality of the food and the other parameters like maintaining hygiene and other things.
During the drive total 20 shops are checked for following food safety norms during selling of items. 20 schedule 4 notices are issued to the shops during the drive for unhygienic conditions. The teams also destroyed 150kg food items like manchurian, panner, sev, rice, flour and pani puri water.
