Vadodara Gotri police seized 107 Indian passports inside the house of a wanted bootlegger

Also seized a local made pistol with two live cartridges

Vadodara Gotri police shocked to see 107 Indian passports inside the house of a wanted bootlegger. The police also seized a local made pistol with two live cartridges and detain his wife present there.

Based on the information the police raided at the house of notorious bootlegger Munaf Sheikh in Akota village Faizulla Ni Chali after received a tip about presence of liquor inside. However to their shock they found 107 Indian passports along with local made pistol with two live cartridges.

While inquiring his wife about the seizure she didn’t gave satisfactory answer to them and the police detained her along with the things they seize from inside the house. They declared Munaf Sheikh as wanted and further investigating in the matter.

As per Gotri PI G.A. Sarvaiyya they are in process to call the persons whose passports are recovered by them and then will able to tell the main purpose. At present they seized the passports and detained the wife of accused.
