The bird flew away as soon as the snorkel reached near it

Vadodara Fire brigade personnel carried out a rescue operation of a peacock on the top of a private company's tower on Vasana Road in the city. However as soon as the snorkel reached near the national bird it flew away and the efforts of fire goes in vain.

As per available details from the fire brigade, they received a call about the national bird peacock was trapped at the top of a private company's tower near Vraj Vihar Society on Vasana Road in Vadodara. Crowds of curious people had gathered at the scene as the news spread. Fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot immediately after the incident and carried out the rescue operation.

However, the height of the tower was too high and the fire brigade was stuck. Later they called the state-of-the-art high-altitude vehicle (hydraulic elevator platform) and firefighters rushed to the top of the tower to rescue the peacock.

But as soon as the fighters reached nearby the peacock moved and flew away. All the efforts of fire brigade goes in vain.
