A Safety seminar and staff grievance camp was conducted by Vadodara Division at Electric Loco Shed Vadodara Yard on 11th January 2019 Friday. The camp was organised under chairmanship of Divisional Railway Manager Vadodara among the presence of Sr. Divisional Safety Officer, Sr. Divisional Electrical Engineer /TRS, Divisional Electrical Engineer /TRS, Divisional Electrical Engineer (MEMU), Divisional Personal Officer, Vadodara.
Total 565 persons participated in the safety seminar which includes Officers, Supervisors and Staff members. Several points were discussed during the seminar with emphasis on personal safety and equipment safety during the working in shed.Under frame safety and care taken during working in loco roof, fire, accidents were also discussed.
Several staffs, supervisors and officers also shared their views on safety related issues. They also put focus on the point about safety precautions being taken during working in Vadodara shed.
Vadodara DRM during his speech emphasized specially on Injury On Duty cases and focus on ensuring personal safety during working to make it NIL. Some staffs also raised safety issues during working and their personal grievances. The DRM ensured that all the issues will be taken up with relevant departments for solution.
Cash award was also given to 17 staffs of Electric Loco Shed Vadodara Yard on the spot for their safety consciousness.
