Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal visited Waghodia on Thursday. She held a meeting with the district administration and health department and gave a detailed review of the Covid situation in the taluka and gave necessary instructions and guidance.

In particular, she emphasized on to persuade the citizens in Waghodia and the villages of the taluka to observe rules of wearing masks and maintain social distance with the cooperation of the police department. She also give instructions about strict adherence to the recent declaration by the government.

The health department was asked to ensure that people get the benefit of health services including diagnosis as close to home as possible by Dhanvantari Rath and people get the most out of it. She also requested to take proper care of the people under Home Quarantine under Sanjeevani campaign.

She further instructed to make proper arrangements for making health facilities available to maximum number of people through Dhanvantari Raths and also to give instructions and guidance to involve all the citizens of the taluka in the rapid surveillance operation. Chief District Health Officer Dr. Surendra Jain remain present with the collector in the meeting.
