    Reviewing the precautions related to Coronavirus and pre-monsoon preparations

    District Collector Shalini Agarwal along with District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri, interacted with village sarpanches and talatis of the district through video conferencing.  The purpose of this dialogue is to review and provide guidance at the grassroots level on pre-monsoon preparations, especially at the village level, along with the observance of Corona vigilance.

    District Collector requested all to be vigilant especially in wearing masks as well as strict adherence to the rules of social distance in public places including markets. She asked the villagers to raise awareness about corona and also to take special care of the children, elders, pregnant women and people with diseases like diabetes, heart and kidney disease and to stay at home as long as possible. 

    Along with this she obtained the details in preparation for monsoon, cleaning of village sewerage system, cleaning of storm water drainage gutters, filling and cleaning of water and potential places of mosquito breeding, cleaning of places with safe altitude in villages which have been flooded in the past. She provide detailed guidance regarding the pre monsoon preparations.

    Corona warriors have been identified and committees have been formed in each village to address the challenge of Corona. Collector get the details of the same and suggest ways on how effective operations can be carried out in this area.
     
    The dialogue was attended by the provincial officers, Mamlatdars and Taluka Development Officers of the area. It is planned to interact with all the villages in the same way in coming days.
