Arrested five employees of Anuj Gas agency involved in the theft

Vadodara Crime Branch busted a LPG cylinder gas theft scam in the Karelibaug area of the city. The team arrested five employees of the Anuj gas service with 2.3cr items and further investigating in the matter.

As per details crime branch PSI A.B. Mishra received a information about the scam running inside the house of one Jayesh Bharwad in Sahyog Nagar in Karelibaug. Based on the tip the team reached the mentioned spot and raid there to find the refilling scam is running there with the help of various equipments. The team arrested Jayesh Bharwad, Kalpesh Rathod, Mahendra Vasava, Pratapsinh Jadhav and Nahin Mali for involved in the gas theft scam from the LPG cylinders.

The arrested are employees of Anuj Gas agency and police recovered 33 cylinders, five empty cylinders, refilling and repacking instruments, mobiles all total 2.36cr from them. Further investigation is on in the matter.
