Vadodara crime branch arrested Nadiad resident for blackmailing married woman

Blackmail and access money from her

Vadodara police arrested a resident of Nadiad Nikunj Soni for blackmailing a married woman to access money from her. The accused befriend her through social media and accessed 12 lakhs and forced her to sign property papers. The victim got in touch with him after Nikunj told her to be working in a bank.

As per details given by the police the accused Nikunj Soni befriend with the married woman through Facebook and chatted with her through Facebook and Whatsapp. He later blackmailed her and stared to access money and property from her.

He threatened to reveal the details to her husband and kill her son and access 12 lakhs from her. Later he got jewellery, blank cheques, share certificates and forcefully made her sign the power of attorney papers.

Crime branch arrested the accused based on the complaint given by the woman and is further investigating the matter.
