Vadodara crime branch arrested a youth for using a girl photo in fake social media account

Vadodara crime branch arrested a youth for making a fake social media account of a girl working in a NGO and chatting with her friends. The accused put the victim photo on the fake Facebook and Whatsapp ID.

On January 2020 friends of the girl informed her about the fake FB account and use her photo as DP to chat with her friends. She was shocked and gives a complaint to the cyber crime against one Moin Mansuri for using her photo after opening a fake account.

The cyber team began investigating in the matter and with the help of technology arrested the accused. Moin Mansuri accepted to use her photo without permission and operating a fake account. Police is further investigating in the case.
