Vadodara collector a shining example of motherhood
Spend quality time with her children after back home from work
The role of a mother in our life is beyond words as she is the only one who introduced us to the outer world, understand us and nurture us with love, kindness. We don’t need any special day to express respect and love for the mother who brought us into this world and gave us a good personality, but Mother’s Day certainly gives us an excuse and an opportunity to express our feelings. For this reason, Mother's Day is celebrated around the world on the second Sunday of May every year.
Shalini Agarwal, Collector of Vadodara District, is one such example of motherhood who never spared any effort in giving mother's love to her two children. She is fulfilling her responsibilities as a collector amidst Corona Pandemic and during the Corporation and District Panchayat, Taluka Panchayat and Municipal elections. But when her children comes in front of her she is only a mother to them not the collector.
Today, on Mother's Day, Collector Shalini Agarwal has shown the same feelings towards her children. Being a woman IAS officer from Vadodara, she is a great mother and raising her children well, in addition with arranging better treatment for thousands of people affected by the corona epidemic. In other words she is managing both her duties very well.
Collector Shalini Agarwal is also a mother of two children, 7-year-old Atharva and 5-year-old girl Adrika. She works 15 hours daily because of the Corona epidemic, which means she can't give children more time. Yet she only focuses on the children as much time she spends with them.
Shalini Agarwal says she make schedule of both her children when she leave home, everyday. The schedule includes about their food, activities they do, study and others. She prepare all these things in advance and leave. From educating the children, she also complete all their hobbies. The corona pandemic does not allow children to go out but they himself plays with the children at home.
After completing the day's work, when she return home the children hug their mother Shalini Agarwal. She walks with them in the garden, plays carom with them, makes them skate. Like a mother from educating her children, she also engaged them in other activities including sports, swimming, music and dance classes for their all round development.
Atharva learns Bollywood dance, while Adrika learns Bharatnatyam dance. Shalini Agarwal do breakfast with the children when she leaves home in the morning, eats only with them in the afternoon but is also sad that she cannot have dinner with the children at night. Shalini Agarwal says that one should always talk positively with children, always spend quality time with them. As a proud mother and says that her children always cooperate and understand.
