Students can use the transport paying a minimal fees for the monthly pass

Children travelling for school in a dangerously driven school vans is now a history as Vadodara city starts special city buses for school children to operate between their society and school. The students can use this mode of transport by paying a minimal fee through a monthly pass depending on the distance.

In one of its kind service in Gujarat right now three buses are starting in the city followed by more buses in coming days. The aim is to provide secure bus services to the students and ensure their safety while going to school and back home.

“The service is exclusively for the school students where we will allow only 30 to 35 kids to travel by bus. The transportation will be from their society to school and back home. Students have to pay minimum fees of 135 to 350 rupees for the monthly pass and get the services,” said Narendra Singh Rana manager Vinayak Logistics.

Presently three buses are assigned on different routes for the students and later will be extended to other routes by introducing more buses.

“The bus has fire safety equipments and well trained staff to ensure the safety of the students. We have started on three routes and later will extend to other areas in next 10 to 15 days introducing a total of twenty buses. The process is also very simple and the order will be issued within three days of application, ” said Rana.
