Vadodara City police successfully tested facial recognition system on Saturday which will empower them in law enforcement. The network of CCTV all across the city with gives an edge to them in crime control. The city Police will be first in the state to use FRS in criminal investigation.

Vadodara police is now having more eyes to detect crimes and take preventive actions for the safety of citizens. The city will be equipped with 407 new CCTV cameras which gives an edge to the police department.

On Saturday the testing of new smart city CCTV project done successfully by the police department. In a short period of time 407 new CCTV camera will be integrated into existing Smart City CCTV network. After completion of this phase of CCTV project, Vadodara City will be covered by around 1100 CCTV cameras which will help in Crime prevention, detection and help to make Vadodara City more safe & secure.
