Said law is equal to everyone and must follow at any cost
Vadodara BJP general secretary Sunil Solanki himself appeared at the Sayajigunj police station after the case of Covid guidelines violation registered against him and supporters. He said the law is equal to everyone and it is his duty to present a example before others to follow the government guidelines.
On the evening of 2nd December, photos and videos of some people celebrating birthdays under the BJP office at Manubhai Tower went viral on social media. The pictures shows the people celebrating without wearing face masks and did not maintain social distance.
Vadodara Sayajigunj police swung into action over Covid 19 guidelines violation in a birthday party and register case against 9 persons for violating the declaration and covid-19 guideline. The team arrested Hiren Choksi, Prateek Pandya, Mahesh Singh Rajput, Mahesh Vasava, Pradeep Rawat and Ravindra Vaghela. Further action is initiated against General Secretary Sunil Solanki, Lakhdhir Singh Zala and Mitesh Pandya in the matter.
On Friday Sunil Solanki appeared before Sayajigunj police station and later granted bail in the matter. In a statement he said, I support the action taken by the police and came here to present an example before everyone to follow the government guidelines. The law in the state is the same for the people and as a leader I request everyone not to violate the rules and always follow them.
