Vadodara administration to involve the other branches of VMC in fight against Covid 19

Vadodara witness big spike in number of Corona positive patients in recent times and the administration is taking every step to contain the transmission. As August being the most crucial month, steps are taken to involve the other branches of the VMC in fight against Covid 19.

OSD Dr. Vinod Rao informed, August will be the most crucial month in their ongoing fight against COVID 19. From 1st August they will involve other Branches and Field Officers of VMC in fight against the virus. In view of the same, he had meeting with all 4 Zonal Deputy Commissioners, 4 AMCs, 4 Zonal Health Officers along with Municipal Commissioner.

After the meeting it is decided that, Deputy Commissioners will do micro-planning for each Zone and present their plans on Friday for the Third Round of Door to Door Surveillance starting from 4th August to 8th August. Home Based COVID Care of all patients will be monitored for each Zone by Deputy Commissioners on a daily basis, involving AMCs and Zonal Health Officers.

Furthermore they will also monitor the work of Dhanwantari Raths and take the follow up of each detected symptomatic patient. The administration will also provide real-time linkage between Hospitals and the relatives of every patient admitted in Hospitals, so that the progress and condition of all patients can be conveyed to relatives.
