Vadodara administration planned to add another 350 beds in SSG and Gotri Hospitals

In view of the increasing cases of Corona virus in Vadodara, administration has planned to add another 350 beds in SSG and Gotri Hospitals.

With 75 plus cases coming up every day it is likely that the number of patients might increase in coming days. Apart from this Corona positive patients from districts around Vadodara including Anand, Bharuch, Panchmahal, Dahod and Chhotaudepur are coming to the city for treatment. In view of that the administration has planned to ensure that there is no shortage of beds in the coming days.

OSD Dr. Vinod Rao said, We are increasing number of Beds in Designated COVID Hospitals in GMERS Gotri and SSG Hospital in the coming days. For better coordination of all administrative, medical and clinical work I have appointed Ashok Patel CEO VUDA as Administrator and Dr Minoo Patel as Advisor for overall supervision of both the Hospitals.

Bed facilities have been set up at SSG, Gotri and private hospitals in Vadodara for the treatment of corona virus. However due to the increasing corona cases, the need for more beds is likely to arise in the coming days.
