Preparations for covid vaccination under the guidance of District Collector and District Development Officer, pre-preparations for the commencement of covid vaccination on 16th January in Vadodara district are being carried out vigorously and as per prescribed protocol.
Giving detailed information in this regard, Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat said that the state Chief Secretary had given guidance in this matter through video conference after interacting with District Collector. In this regard necessary pre-preparations are being made to follow strictly the Protocol and S.O.P.
Vaccination booths will be set up at a total of 7 public and private institutions in the rural areas of the district to start vaccination on the 16th and approximately 100 beneficiaries will be vaccinated at each center with due vigilance. Beneficiaries (health workers) who need to be vaccinated will be notified of their center via SMS.
These centers include Savli Community Health Center, Varanama, Sokhada and Kanjat (Padra) Primary Health Centers and Stirling Hospital at Bhayali, Parul Seva Shram Medical College at Piplia and Dhiraj Hospital. Deep freeze and ILR at these centers, technically known as cold l points. Such vaccines are facilitated to be kept safe.
Dr Uday said the required quantity of vaccine is likely to be delivered to the vaccine depot at the office of the Deputy Director of Health, Medical Services and Education at the vaccine camp on Wednesday.
In seven districts of Central Gujarat including Vadodara, Bharuch, Narmada, Chhota Udepur, Mahisagar, Dahod and Panchmahal. The required quantity of vaccine for the vaccination centers will arrive at the vaccine and then delivered to the concerned district and vaccination centers under proper cold chain.
