Use Gau Cast logs in Holika Dahan to purify atmosphere in Corona scare

Holi is a festival to celebrate the victory of good over evil and every year thousands of trees are chopped to celebrate Holika Dahan. However the cow dung logs also known as Gau Cast is the perfect replacement for the timber and also to save the vanishing trees.

With this year too the Corona scare is looming over tbe celebration, the Gau Cast along with other ingredients will prove to be a natural air purifier during the Holika Dahan. Mukesh Gupta as entrepreneur is promoting the natural Gau Cast this Holi and delivered a hand full of orders to the customers.

He said the aim is to proper utilization of cow dung and also help reduce cutting of trees during this time of the year. We are going for alternate as cow dung when burnt and with cow ghee can remove the virus in the area. Camphor, havan items, cow ghee, coconut, google and cow dung can purify the air and give relief in this stress time of Covid 19.

He further said that the benefits are saving cows, save trees and generate employment for the people who are engaged in the production of Gau Cast. Cow dung ash can be used for filtration of water. This year they produced ten tonnes of Gau Cast and eight tonnes were ordered from Baroda, Dahod, Godhra, Anand, Kheda, Anjar. They have installed five to six machines where they produce 800 kgs of Gau Cast every day.
