Uninterrupted oxygen supply and ventilators installed in Vadodara hospitals to treat people and save lives

Uninterrupted oxygen supply and ventilator supply is most important in treatment of covid patients. As cases are continuing to surge in Vadodara, the administration is increasing the facilities on war footing in hospitals to accommodate the patients.

Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao visited various hospitals in and around the city to review the facilities and increase them in view of the patients inflow. In Gotri hospital they started installing Oxygen lines on war footing on 7th Floor. 50 New Oxygen Beds is going to be ready on Tuesday and 20 more have been identified in Plastic Surgery ICU on 7th Floor.

Dr. Rao said, 70 more Oxygen Beds will be ready in next 2 to 3 days on 7th Floor and it will take up the total capacity of Gotri Hospital from 575 to 715 Beds. 10 more Max Ventilators is installed there in addition to 5 Ventilators installed late yesterday night. This will increase the number of Ventilators from 140 to 155 at Gotri Hospital .

Further 10 Ventilators installed for FREE TREATMENT BEDS at Parul Sevashram Hospital for treatment. Dr. Rao informed that total 74 patients are admitted in Pioneer Covid hospital, out of which nine are on Venti Bipap, one on Venti Invasive, 42 on NRBM, 22 on oxygen and 29 new admissions. He said they are getting Pioneer Hospital ready for COVID Treatment on war-footing and getting ICU ready, Ventilators installed overnight to treat patients and save many lives during this critical time.
