Two unknown youths snatched gold chain from a lady on Harni road in Vadodara

Two youths on a bike snatched a chain from the neck of a woman who was riding an Activa with her daughter-in-law near Mira Char Rasta on Harni Road in Vadodara city. However the accused get only half of chain in its hand. The created panic in the area.

As per available details, Rama Bhagwati Bhai Patel, a resident of Swaminarayan Nagar Division 2 on Harni Road, was going home sitting behind his daughter-in-law’s Activa. Meanwhile two youths on a bike rushed towards them and before snatched chain from her neck and fled. Rama shouted for help and before the people arrived the accused fled towards the Shanidev temple.

Ramaben said the chain was of two and half tolas and the accused snatched half of it. One of them is wearing black t shirt and cover his face with a handkerchief.

As soon as the incident was reported to the police they rushed to the spot and started an investigation to catch the robbers after getting CCTV footage from the road. The robbery, which took place in daylight on Harni Road, caused panic in the area.
