Two Sanjivani chariots made available in Sabhi from Wednesday

As part of the precautionary measures taken to contain Coronavirus, two chariots of health sanjivani chariots were assigned in Dabhoi by the health department. The aim is make the health services easily accessible to the people near their residences.

Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat said, in order to intensify the preventive steps and provide health services to the people close to their home, the service of two health sanjivani chariots like mobile hospitals has been made available in Dabhoi from Wednesday. Earlier 5 such vans were assigned in Padra district.

Health check-ups, diagnosis, treatment and distribution of medicines as well as referral services are provided free of cost by the medical officer and associate health personnel through these chariots. Its services are available to people close to home. The mobile hospitals is equipped with medical devices like BP gauge, pulse oximeter, glucometer and others.
