Two persons were caught with liquor hidden in a hidden pocket of a vehicle

One declared wanted by the police

A team of Vadodara Rural LCB Police caught IMFL hidden inside a tempo from near Jarod bus stand and arrest two in the matter. They declared one as wanted who has sending the consignment. During the raid police seized 1464 bottles of liquor worth Rs 1.68 lakh, vehicles, mobile phones from the spot.

The team of Vadodara Rural Local Crime Branch Police was on patrol and received the information about tempo laden with IMFL was heading towards Vadodara from Halol. Based on that the police set a watch near Jarod bus stand and stopped the vehicle as per the information and during the search found foreign liquor hidden under the sheets at the back.

Police arrested Kailash, a resident of Chittorgarh, and Vipul, a resident of Banswada from Rajasthan and began investigation about the liquor and delivery place. Police have declared one from Rajasthan as wanted after they confessed that the liquor was sent by a man named Vijesh from Rajasthan during preliminary interrogation.

The accused was found to have made a hole at the back of the tempo to hide the liquor bottles. Police found 1464 small and large bottles of foreign liquor during the search. Police arrested Kailash Chandra Keer and Vipul Nat, originally from Rajasthan, and seized liquor and tempo worth Rs 8.73 lakh.
