Coconut Laddu

Ingredients for coconut laddu

1 cup Grated coconut , 1/3 tea spoon Cardamom powder, ½ cup Condensed milk ,1 tablespoon chopped almonds,1 tablespoon chopped cashews

Method to make coconut laddu

- Take grated coconut in a pan on medium heat.

- Roast the coconut for 2-3 minutes with stirring constantly or till the coconut gets heat up and moisture is evaporated.

- Add condensed milk.

- Mix it well and cook on medium-low heat.

- It starts to bubble up and will get thicken. Do stir frequently.

- Cook till it starts to leave the sides of the pan.

- Add cardamom powder, chopped cashews and almonds. Mix well.

- Once it is cooled down completely, take small portion and make tight smooth ball using your hand. If it is sticky then grease the palm with little ghee.

- Roll the ladoo in dry desiccated coconut one by one. Coconut laddu is ready.

Sabudana kheer

Ingredients for sabudana kheer

¼ cup sabudana, ¼ cup sugar , Cup milk, 1 tablespoon chopped cashew nuts, 1 tablespoon almonds, ¼ cardamom powder

Method to make coconut laddu

- Wash the sabudana under running cold water .

- Soak it into enough water for at least 2 hours.

- Take in milk in a deep sauce pan on medium heat. Let the milk come to a simmer.

- And let it simmer for 8-10 minutes. Stir the milk in between to make sure it is not sticking to the bottom of the pan. Milk will thicken slightly.

- Add sabudana. stir well

- let it simmer for 4-5 minutes. Add sugar.

- add cashew nuts and almonds also add cardamom powder.

- Mix well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

- Serve the kheer warm.
