The Table Tennis Association of Baroda (TTAB) announce the name of the team members of TTAB Teams-2019 which will participate in the forthcoming the Late Shree MahendrarayDuleraiBuch Gujarat State and Inter District Table Tennis Championships-2019 to be held at Gandhidham (Kutch) by Kachchh District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) from 2nd to 6th October, 2019.

Manush Shah in men’s team is a youth boy paddler having 1st rank in youth boys’ category in India.He is also participating in international tournaments and has brought laurels to the State as well as country too by winning medals at international level. Very promising youth paddler having wonderful future ahead. His recent achievement is silver medal in team event of Asian Junior Championship held at Mongolia and qualified for World Junior Championship to be held at Thailand in November-2019.

Similarly, Pratham Madlani, in junior boys’ team a junior paddler has lots of potential therefore selected for Khelo India who represented India in the 10th Asian Pacific Youth School Games held at Vladivostok, Russia from 3rd to 9th September 2019. He won two silver medals for India i.e. One for Team and Individual events.

In Junior Girls’ category, upcoming Sheli Patel and Jeeya Lakhani, sub-junior girls are very promising players having 2nd and 4th rank in the State and currently they are in very good form.

In men’s team, Jalay Mehta and Malay Parikh are very senior and experienced players who can be a game changer. Whereas, Vidit Desai and Vishal kumar Gupta are upcoming promising paddlers. In women’s team Shital and Purva are also very experienced players and can put their best to win matches. In junior boys’ team, again Pratham Mansingani and Nij are promising upcoming very consistent sub junior paddlers. Whereas, Jeeya and Sakshi are also consistent and talented players can provide strong support to the team.

Vismay Vyas, Sr. Coach – Vadodara SAG & ITTF Level-I Course Conductor will extend his expertise to the teams during the State and Inter District Table Tennis Championships-2019 at Gandhidham. He played vital role as a coach in the UTT 6th Asian School Table Tennis Championships-2019 recently played at Vadodara, Gujarat. India SGFI boys and girls teams brought two silver and four bronze medals.

Last year the paddlers brought laurel to the district by winning overall trophy in the State and Inter District Table Tennis Championship.

The current year teams comprise the following team players.

Men’s Team: 1. Jalay Mehta (Captain) 2. Manush Shah 3. Vidit Desai 4. Vishal Kumar Gupta 5. Malay Parikh.

Women’s Team:1. Sheetal Shah (Captain) 2. Sheli Patel 3. Purva Nimbalkar 4. Jeeya Lakhani 5. Juhi Vasavada.

Junior Boys’ Team:1. Pratham Madlani(Captain) 2. Pratham Mansingani 3. Vidit Desai 4. Nij Lakhani.

Junior Girls’ Team: 1. Sheli Patel (Captain) 2. Purva Nimbalkar 3. Jeeya Lakhani 4.Sakshi Navani.
